Raythink’s Integrated Perimeter Solution Gains Traction at a Technology Day in South Africa!
On 22nd August, in collaboration with our trusted partner MASS Security Solutions in South Africa, Raythink showcased its advanced industrial security solutions during a technology day event hosted by Stallion Security. Among the standout products on display, Raythink’s SilentW-UM6 and PC4 models garnered significant interest from local mining clients, offering innovative solutions to enhance mine safety and security.
At the Technology Day Event
For a long time, South Africa’s mining industry has faced a wide range of security challenges. Illegal mining, or “Zama-zamas,” is one of the serious problems facing the mining industry. These illegal miners infiltrate underground mines through ramps and mine shafts, often establishing hidden underground hideouts where they remain for months. They dismantled cables in preparation for unlawful copper mining, which disrupts operations and leads to devastating financial losses and serious safety hazards.
Raythink’s cutting-edge industrial security solutions effectively respond to these challenges, helping mining operators prevent multimillion-dollar losses. The solutions feature a combination of advanced infrared panoramic cameras and multi-spectrum PTZ cameras, delivering a comprehensive, layered approach to site security.
The SilentW-UM6 Series stands out with its 360° panoramic coverage, completing a rotation cycle in just 2 seconds. Powered by proprietary image stitching algorithms, these cameras deliver seamless real-time visibility across expansive areas. Complementing this, the PC4 and PC5 Series PTZ Cameras excel in long-range detection, even in complete darkness or dust-filled environments. Together, these products enable 360° panoramic monitoring without blind spots, multi-target tracking with intelligent linkage, and audio-visual alarm linkage for rapid response. This integrated approach leaves no hiding place for illegal miners, ensuring enhanced safety and efficiency for mining operations.
Raythink’s solutions received widespread praise at the event, with local clients expressing enthusiasm about their potential to address South Africa’s unique security challenges. Our close partner MASS Security Solutions announced: Really, I think we will see more traction on Raythink in the near future!

Raythink will continue to collaborate with partners and clients worldwide to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective security solutions tailored to the evolving needs of industrial operations.
